Compare with SNSD:
Now THIS is NEWS for me....gosh SM says Yoo Youngjin and another european composing company-Dsign Music AS (also helped compose one of SJ and Amuro Nami's songs).
So....did SM get rights to this song and the situation is the same as Mirotic? In which case, they sold it to DBSK and to Sarah Connor for copyrights in terms of region, but she released it first.
Or did SM copy it?? This is extremely....how do I say? Juicy. First with it's similarity to Rhianna's PDSTM and now another artist has the SAME song??? Released at an earlier date? wow...SM is really going downhill...
On the other hand I have concluded that SME has made some arrangements so the similarity between PDSTM and Tell Me Your Wish isn't speculated by the news.
Seriously... the issue with Mirotic totally pissed me off when their BIG COMEBACK song was already released....and then SHINee's issues with covers and their recent one with Juliette (of Corbin Bleu's Deal with it). Either SME needs to hire new composers or ask their composers to step out of their comfort zones and compose some music for their bands....nuff said.
----Just for laughs:
This self-made "scandals" spread by Soshi fans, making it out to be the doing of "antis" is bordering on well, InSanity.
There is a gif found of Jessica pushing Seohyun saying "Go Away" (looked like it) in a rehearsal. SNSD fans are instantly coming to the defence of:
InSanes wrote: They were being mean because they were planning a surprise party for her
Honestly, no one knew about it or cared, it was only pointed out by the Soshi fans and tried to cover it up instantly, as if "antis" were using it as this huge speculation of horrid behaviour, and like HOMG we're so outraged!!.
Now get over yourselves InSanes, we never doubted how rude these girls actually are, please do join the forums and lurk/post InSane philosophical psychobabble and see how little we care for these petty little things. Because well, its all "same old same old" with us.
And to add on to the hilarity of stupid publicity via "fanservice"/"self-promotion", the girls graciously went on ChinCHin to let the world of Netizens rest as they explained that Yoona peeked under Tiffany's skirt as a "concerned friend". Here's the video:
AH! WE CANT SEE A PATTERN! Thanks SM for the cheap ploys for attention, its funny watching how SNSD fans and SME both go to extreme
Update~
And so it seems that poor poor SME are the victims in this new piece of controversy.
SM claimed that they have bought full rights to this song that formerly was known as simply the work of Yoo YoungJin, but now is a combined effort of "Universal Music" and another party. Funnily enough, SM have released a statement claiming that they had bought the song back on February 1st, while SNSD were still promoting "Gee". Hum..... That was said to indicate that the Uzbek star was the one to have the "stolen" song although the song was released back in April.
Now, we're no experts on Uzbek music laws, yet in cases like these someone has to be responsible. SM are an International company now, and if someone were to have illegally gotten a hold of their song and released it before they did, then they have full rights to sue. And well, knowing SM who have been sued in the past for copyright infringment, they know the law and would not think twice about using it.
Nevertheless, this does seem to further pull us in the direction of the entire "fanservice" fiasco that is SNSDs "comeback". If SM had this song back in February ready to use, why the rushed random comeback? Why the song with the Fanclub name in the title? And why in the hell use that bloody slimy voice in the intro? And whatever in the hell happened to "SMP" music SM was so proud of?
Also, SM continue to confuse by not pressing charges already. If you've been wronged, why not take action?
