Nicely written.
Honestly, they downplay the message of being respectable. When we as audiences look at specific bands, we (not the ajusshis or fanboys) look for people who can gain our respect and at the same time provide entertainment. All I see here with SNSD is the fact that they decided to appeal to younger generations as an example, but in reality, they lure the perverted men and crazy fans with their "o so cute image." When you compare Wonder Girls to SNSD, there are huge differences between the concept, but they both have the sexy appeal, or rather Wonder Girls does and SNSD tries. They being Wonder Girls, present themselves at a respectable level, and that's what counts.
