why protect them?
what is worth protecting?
okay i admit, they have have merely increased their popularity with "gee" early this year, but that was this year. this was last year in the centre of all the controversy. why didn't SM just disband them then? they obviously have more antis than fans as literally the majority of the stadium protested. Cassiopeia, ELF and Triple S may have started it, but no doubt others would have noticed and joined in, no? it bugs me that SM keep spending money to protect and defend this group and merely paying the artists that are bringing in the cash. you're right that they hardly pay their artists, but how many singles, merchandise and repackaged albums do they release? even with all this they're still not paying the artists properly.
i really hate the fact they humiliated Cassiopeia, ELF and Triple S at that event. like you said, they backstabbed those fanclubs and really was unfair. they were made to look the bad guys when they are just teenage fangirls for the most?
what makes me think is if Sone did this to DBSK, Super Junior or SS501, would they protect the acts [specifically DBSK and Super Junior as they are SM] or humiliate Sone? it will be really biased if they protect Sone because they humiliated Cassiopeia and ELF in that way but switch sides in the same scenario but for SNSD.
