“ Get a motherf**king life you asshole, stop making these vids”
“ stupid antis. you’re just jealous because SNSD beautiful and you’re an ugly slut”
“ go hump yourself on a wall, you low life”
And this one came into my own channel a couple of months ago
- Spoiler:
- “LOL… an anti fan of SNSD from Malaysia. dude, you fail at life”
Are you surprised? Well I was, but not anymore.
My purpose of making this article is to express my frustration on SNSD’s fan club called Sone. Personally, I think that Sones have never at least tried to give people a good view about their fandom. If they really love SNSD as their idols, wouldn’t they hate it when people say that they hate SNSD because of Sones? Whenever I think of this, the only logical reason that I can give to myself is because Sones love SNSD more as eye-candies and not because of their artistic talents. Ask yourself, if you love somebody with all your heart, what would you feel when the person gets hurt or hated BECAUSE OF YOU?
I, myself am a proud Ever Lasting Friend, a loyal fan of Super Junior. I assumed that many ELF here are already aware of the existence of some Super Junior anti fan channels in YouTube. Truth be told, when I found these channels I would just love to leave some nasty comments there, and you won’t want to know what sort of words that I was tempted to use. But thank God, before I could start doing that, I reminded myself that I too am an anti fan and how can I claim myself to be ‘civil’ if I would go as low as using vulgarities and insults? I could’ve give people negative thoughts on Super Junior fans. For the sake of Super Junior and my fellow ELF, I chose to ignore those channels.
Now back to the topic, Sones. Why do they become my ( and most antis ) main reason to dislike SNSD?
1. Dream Concert 2008
I think that this is the major starter of the war and hatred between Sones and other fan clubs, Cassiopeia and ELF mainly. What Sones have done to the two fan clubs is simply unacceptable and inhumane. Before the concert, they had emotionally hurt Cassiopeia (accusing DBSK for sexual harassment on SNSD ) and ELF ( tearing Super Junior’s banner ). Therefore, these two fan clubs, helped by Triple S, chose to peacefully and silently protest by turning off their glowsticks when SNSD performed. Just as CaTriEl thought that the peaceful protest was good enough to make their point, Sones decided to step it up a notch by physically hurting some ELF and Cassiopeia after the concert. Their excuse, “that’s what you get for treating our nine girls like that”. Correct me if I’m wrong, but a few days before the concert, didn’t Sones said that SNSD doesn’t need support from other fan clubs? Well, no wonder…
2. Their usage of vulgarities and insults towards antis.
Many STANDers have had their personal experiences in dealing with this matter. Usage of vulgarities can really offend someone if the words used actually had something to do with the person. But even if the words don’t have anything to do with him / her at all, the person might get agitated to fight back by using vulgarities as well. In STANDers’ case, most of us have tried our hardest to avoid tarnishing our reputation as civil antis. But it’s hard, isn’t it? We are humans too, and humans have their limits of patience. When Sones got too much by going as far as insulting our mothers who had gone through all that trouble giving birth to us and raising us up, we just can’t take it anymore, right? Or in my case as I’ve mentioned earlier, the Sone insulted my nationality. Have we ever physically harmed any members of SNSD that we deserve such insults?
It’s only our common sense to defend our pride from being stepped on like that, and we have tried our best to do it in the most polite and civilized way. But you do know when too much is too much right? At that level, it only relies on your own logical thinking whether you want to retaliate by using vulgarities as well or ignore your anger / ego and just shrug it off.
I’m not trying to educate you guys or sound like a ‘smarty-smart-smarty’ here, but I’m just telling you that this is one of Sones’ way to make us lose our patience and hence, falling down as low as their level by being rude like them. I’m sure that they’ll be more than happy when they know that their efforts to ruin STANDers’ reputation is working. Please don’t fall for this little trick of theirs.
3. Their refusal in admitting SNSD’s mistakes
We are all sick of this. Would it kill them to just admit that SNSD too make mistakes? From the way they defended SNSD, we can say that Sones think that SNSD are perfect angels and they would never make any errors. But too bad for them, SNSD are not angels. They are humans too, just like us STANDers and them Sones. But as we admit SNSD’s and Sones’ existence on this Earth as human beings, how often do we hear them, as humans, apologize for their misbehavior?
It doesn’t matter if SNSD would apologize on Sones’ behalf or vice versa, in fact it’s good to see idols and their fans having so much support for each other. But the thing is, this never happens. After the Dream Concert 2008 incident, did SNSD apologize for Sones’ behavior towards the other fan clubs? Have Sones, on SNSD’s behalf, ever apologize to the senior artists whom SNSD has disrespected?
When we say ;
OR“Taeyeon made a racist remark”
“ Tiffany is rude. She laughed during a show about the Sichuan earthquake. She should've shown some respect to China”
with audio and video proofs as our backup and evidence, Sones would say ;
OR“No, she didn’t say that. You’re misinterpreting it. Are you a Korean? Do you exactly understand what she said in the sound clip? It could have been a translating mistake"
“ What’s the big deal? She didn’t laugh about the victims. Can’t you see that she was just being her funny self? ”
You might say that I’m being a hypocrite here because my own idol, Super Junior also made mistakes. But at least they apologized or ELF apologized for them. For example, when Donghae was caught cursing at the Chinese fans at the airport, he made a public apology a few days later, expressing his regrets of his own behavior. Then, Super Junior was labeled ‘rude’ for celebrating Kyuhyun’s 22nd birthday during Seoul Music Awards. Super Junior themselves did not apologize to Hong Soo Ah and Lee Eun Kyul ( who were both on the stage when the birthday celebration happened ). But to many ELF’s relief, our Korean ELF visited both artists’ Cyworld pages and posted many apology messages on behalf of Super Junior. They told ELF not to worry about it and the issue was settled.
What I’m trying to point out here is making mistakes is still acceptable because it’s human nature. But what’s unacceptable is not willing to admit them and not apologizing to those you've offended.
4. Proud of being thugs and not realizing their own mistake
Yes, everybody knows how proud Sones are for what they did during Dream Concert 2008. I don’t have to emphasize much on this, since many of you already know that they were happy when they saw ELF crying and Cassiopeia got injured.
After this incident, I accidentally found a few Soshi fan accounts and forums that discussed the issue when I was searching for articles about the concert. The funny thing is, some Sones there even asked and tell each other these stuff about the silent protest ;
“those ELFs and Cassies are beasts”
“this is disgusting. why are Cassiopeia and ELF so immature?”
Okay pick, which one is more disgusting, immature and beast-like:
A. Physically attacking others because they dislike your idols.
B. Silently and peacefully protesting by turning off glowsticks and
remaining quiet for a few minutes.
5. Attack on other fan clubs.
Cassiopeia, ELF, Shapley, Chocolates, Wonderful, Kamilia and Blackjacks. These are the names of the K – Pop fan clubs that became the victims of Sones’ anger, insecurity and selfishness. Sones have made it clear that they are more than ready to start wars with every single K – Pop fan groups that exist.
We cannot expect each and every idol groups to be loved by each and every person. Every idol groups has their antis and the last time I checked, this is a free world. So, everyone has the right whether to like or dislike some artists or idols. Would you agree with me if I say that we rarely see members of the fan clubs mentioned above do the nasty things that Sones did? Yes, some of them might have done it. But when we compare their number to Sones’ number, the difference is too obvious.
Why is it that Sones need to do this? Promoting your idol to other fan clubs is a good thing to do. But how you do it is a different thing. If you come to other artists’ galleries or baidu bars just to compare them to your idol and bash them for what they’re lacking (although the only things that other artists lack compared to SNSD are a massive anti fan base and rude attitude), then you are certainly oblivious that you’re digging your own idol’s graves.
Will Sones ever learn their lesson on this one? Many people thought that Dream Concert 2008 and SM Town Live 08 at Shanghai were good enough to teach them what respect means. But unfortunately, they weren’t. After they physically attacked other fans, insulted other idols, picked fights with other fan clubs, ( and not to mention SNSD themselves being rude and disrespectful) , Sones wondered why their nine goddesses have so many antis from around the world ( No wonder we call them InSanes or Delusionals).
6. Blaming anybody that they can think of for anything bad that happens to SNSD
Remember when our dear Miss Tiffany had a drastic loss of weight a while ago? Sones chose to blame antis instead of researching on Tardy’s diet plans. And recently, Tardy is at it again. With her picture being used in a so-called Netherlends (?) porn site, Sones went on a rampage and started accusing antis for causing it. This time, they decided to take it to a whole new level by blaming and threatening to kill a whole country.
When we talk about this, STAND has been a major victim of Sones’ accusations. We have been accused to promote violence and death threats towards SNSD and their families in this peaceful but heated forum of ours. I read this on a YouTube channel. It’s a Sone expressing his / her frustration about STAND.
“ I used to be a STANDer and I visit STAND quite often. But the more I visit it, the more death threats for SNSD and immature posts that I see there. It actually turned me into a Sone”
I'm not here to judge that person.But from what I can see, he / she is trying to give STAND a bad name. Well, as usual, Sones’ words are always reusable against them, right? I didn’t post this on the person’s channel since I don’t really mean what I’m about to say and I don’t want to start a never-ending battle with a Delusional. I just couldn’t help but think of it.
“ I used to be a Sone and I visitedSissifiedSoshified quite often. But the more I visit it, the more perverted posts and expressions of wanting to have sex with SNSD that I see there. It actually turned me into an anti”
As if blaming STAND for everything wasn’t enough, they decided to blame every citizen of Netherlands for Tiffany’s issue. Think about it, okay Sones? Have you ever wondered why other girl group members have never received such humiliation like your precious Tiffany does? That’s right, because they never acted cute and innocent but at the same time wear the shortest booty shorts available in store and sing “ I’m genie for your wish ”. And can you blame those men if they got horny when watching such a scene?

A lot of neutrals asked me this question:
if Sones are the ones who really make you angry most of the time,why can't you just anti Sones? you don't have to anti SNSD, the girls can't always be blamed for what their fans did.why would you want them to disband mainly because of Sones?
The theory is simple ;
NO SNSD = NO SONES
Or in other words, without an idol group,a fanclub won't exist.

I think that I have made my points clear here. I would also like to stress that I know that not all Sones are Delusionals, InSanes or Bonerifics like we call the most of them. I’ve had the pleasure to meet only two very nice and sane Sones in YouTube, and I’m looking forward to meet more.
For those psychotic Sones who are spying on us in this forum, yes, this article is about you. I know for fact that you cannot and will never take this truth, unless you decide to be sane and think about it for a while.
I’m sorry if there are any errors in my grammar and spelling or if you think that I am being too Super Junior biased here. I was just trying to give some examples when I mentioned them in my text. I’m not really detailed with what’s going on with other fan clubs such as Cassiopeia and Shapley. Therefore, to avoid factual errors I’ve decided to use Super Junior and ELF as examples.
NOTE : R.I.P TO THOSE WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN THE EARTHQUAKE THAT STRUCK CHINA ON WEDNESDAY, 14TH APRIL 2010. MAY GOD BLESS THEIR SOULS.
