I know how I sound, but don't worry, I'm very neutral to SNSD. I don't really like them, but I don't hate them either. However, I see a lot of SNSD hatred, and I'm just wondering exactly how/why it seems to exist. Basically, I'm trying to be objective and open-minded.
And I'm not bashing DBSK-I love them with a flaming passion in fact. I'm just pointing out that Mirotic is quite suggestive and caters to sexual fantasies, just like Genie does. I don't understand why that's an idiotic comparison.
Personally, I think that the only reason that DBSK, or any boyband in fact, is seen with a pedophile image is because when guys act cute, it's just seen as being cute. However, when girls do it, they're suddenly promoting pedophilia.
Ex. SHINee's Replay is catered to older women. However, they are not considered to be marketing to pedophiles. Replace SHINee with SNSD however,and all of a sudden it would be scandalous. I just think that we hold boys and girls to different standards in the music industry.

The only reason I bring up SHINee is to give an example of what I am talking about. It's an attempt to prove the differences in ways boys and girls are held to in the music industry. I am in no way trying to diss SHINee or anything.

Should these celebrities leave the entertainment industry because their fans are crazy?

Although Sunny might be an exception (Cuz she's like LSM's niece or something), all the girls were judged on the same level as any other SM artist. Thus, unless you are questioning the integrity of the entire audition process, it can be concluded that the scouts/audition judges at least, heard some talent in them. Also, according to one thread on here, SNSD pre-debut were pretty fugly. Now, I ask; why on earth would a company pick up really ugly girls and spend (I'm assuming) a ton of money on surgery for them if they had no talent? If they were really chosen just for their looks and not talent, why didn't SM just grab a bunch of pretty girls and save itself that money?
Finally, you can think what you'd like-I'm honestly not going to spend time
convincing you that I'm not some Sushi Spy, but considering that my arguments have been backed by examples and reasoning, I don't find them illogical at all.
